Forget your Doom 3s and Half-Life 2s, retro gaming is where itΓÇÖs at. We have already seen television plugΓÇÖnΓÇÖplay versions of classic arcade games from the likes of Atari and Sega. Now itΓÇÖs the turn of one of the most famous (and most famously addictive) games of all time. Tetris is, of course, the game of Russian origin in which you arrange falling shapes so that they form a complete horizontal line. The large square controller makes it easy to rotate the falling blocks, but it could do with a little more refinement when it comes to side-to-side movement. There are four versions of the classic game built in, including the single-player mode and Garbage Tetris, where blocks litter the screen to get in your way. The most fun, though, is the two-player battle mode in which every line you clear is passed over to your opponent. With two good players the game could pretty much last for ever. Endlessly addictive fun ΓÇô just remember to eat and sleep at some point.
